I F'n Hate Valentine's day.

I fucking hate Valentine's day. I really do... I don't need a commercially hyped load of crap day to "express" or "prove" my love to anyone. I hate the expectations and bullshit that coincide with the day. Like candy, chocolate, a card and bunch of flowers mean "I love you?" How about a full body massage and a nice, big stiff one? ? How about washing my car? Then I will know how much you love me. =)

But I digress...

So of all days that I get offered a new position at work, it's valley day. Time to celebrate! Restaurant 1. Booked. Restaurant 2 Booked. Fuck . Three? No chance. Crap. Zehrs Market for takeout it is. Grr. Everyplace was booked because their spouses will bitch them out for not celebrating this most "cherished" day of enforced public displays of love and pair-bonding.

We did some research in to valley day in Medieval Sex & Marriage today and found several people named for this "Heart-filled" day, but no conclusive evidence. Crap. And here I was looking for someone to blame.. Heck anyway I can find another reason to blame the Roman Catholic church for something crappy, I am game! =/ Sigh.

No such luck.

Commitment Issues

Christ. Has it really been that long since I updated this thing? I have been SO busy with school and work that I haven't updated this in SO long. Maybe I Do have commitment issues! =P

I know the past few weeks have been very stressful with my spouse that we have considered taking a break from one another. But we always seem to work it out. Buying a house scares the hell out of me, though. =/

I fear it will push us apart or drive us mad.

Sigh.
